Didn’t write yesterday was pretty tired so I decided to rest after a active day of travel and visiting with Larry. Day 9 was a travel day first taking I-10 East to Us 290 East also known as the Hill Country trail this highway is blanketed with wineries and vineyards. we stopped in Fredericksburg, Tx to have lunch at Hondo’s good food and a fun atmosphere and then we traveled Through Johnson City, Tx. home of President Lyndon B. Johnson he was John F. Kenndy VP after Kennedy’s assassination in 1963 Johnson was sworn in as the 36th President. Day 10 we are still in Bastrop for the day and to spent some more time with Larry a brother from Dallas, Ga. May you all have a wonderful, safe and blessed Labor Day weekend. Tomorrow, we head back to Bay Town, Tx. on our way towards Louisiana.
Today we left Van horn, Tx heading back to Ozona, Tx. first a quick stop by Hotel El Capitan for a few pics then onto I 10 East, later in the day it was time for a bite, so we stopped at Fort Stockton to have lunch at K Bob’s Steakhouse, turned out to be a good choice. Afterwards we went to what remains of the actual Fort Stockton in 1867 the Buffalo Soldiers 9th calvary made Fort Stockton home to aid in protecting the fort and to help with removal of the Indian population that was present at the time. So tomorrow we will head to Bastrop, Tx to see Larry an old friend from Dallas, Ga.Yes it’s that time again to say good night and God Bless you all.
Today it was the ride to the world’s largest Harley Dealership in El Paso, Texas. here are a few little-known facts they carry 20,000 T-shirts and the dealership probably covers somewhere between 3 and 4 city blocks and tonight was their Bike Night they average 300 bike. We also had spent some time talking about the Lord to a couple of their employee’s. today was a great day we finished off the evening with having dinner @ the Hang Out a local place here in Van Horn, Tx. If you notice the pictures Michele found something that she can even ride. And I running from the boarder.

This morning after breakfast @ Pep’s it was time to roll out I-10 West through the hill country and along the Mountain Trail, before arriving to Van Horn, Tx. Tonight I will be sharing something from God’s Word 3words that appear in the New Testament that help describe our Lord 1. Intercessor Romans 8:34, Mediator 1Timothy 2:5 and Advocate 1John 2:1 Amen! It’s that time again to say good night and may the Lord bring peace and comfort to you all this night. God’s Speed to all my brothers and sisters.

The day started with a early morning breakfast and a short walk along the River Walk to the Alamo. Then once again it was a run out I-10 West to Ozona, Tx where we had dinner at the Hitchin Post Steakhouse not much to look at but food along with the friendly service will make up for the outside appearance. we would definitely eat their again. we are pretty tired from the day’s events, time to call it a night. enclosing we are very thankful for the Lord’s traveling mercies and grace of protection. Amen
Today we left Bay Town, Tx. Going West on I-10 through Huston Iwould recommend using back roads, worth saving your nerves and your mind. finally arriving in San Antonia, Tx checking into our room enabled us to slow down and catch our breath before riding the River Boat through the San Anton River along the River Walk before grabbing dinner. on a little note, the river runs 240 miles dumping into the Gulf of Mexico and in San Antonia it run in a horseshoe shape. Through the River Walk. Another one of God’s amazing creations. God bless each and everyone of you and have wonderful night.

This morning after a bite at Cracker Barrel it was on to I 10 West towards Bay Town, Tx. with a couple of stops first @ Henry’s Travel Center in Louisiana then pitstop at Blue Elbow Swamp in Texas this is a 3300-acre wildlife preserve. We arrived in Bay Town about 3:30 then after checking in for the night, we went PinChin Crab it was good food with a fair environment. today was another great day spending time with my bride and admiring God’s artwork. May we be a light in the darkness as travel through this life amen!
Well we left Laurel, Ms. this morning heading to Lafayette, Louisiana. Decidedto ride the backroads ofMs.and La. US84 was a good drive but the roads in Louisiana are some of the worst roads that we have ever traveled, they defintely need to spend some time and money on road improvements.with that said the good thing about the backroads is seeing the counrtyside and enjoying God’s master pieces that He has created for us.if you are ever inthe are of Lafayette Don’s Seafood is the place to go!Time to call it a night May the Lord be the light that guides your path through this jounery we call life, have a wonderful and blessed night.

We left Dallas,Ga. today after a late breakfast, heading to Laurel,Ms.Making pretty good time until we got on I59 South where it became a stand still for a couple hours due to two Semis sideswipeing each other. we finally made it t Hellfighters Ministries to drop off a donation of used motorcycle parts and a brief fellowship with some brothers and a sister. Then it was time for the Blue crab to enjoy some Crab Dip and someShrimp, promise you it did not disappoint. We did have a chance to see God’s Grace @ work to day it appear that the two Truckers survied the accident and no one else was hurt. well it’s time to call it a night. May the LORD shine upon your face and be the light in your hesrt.![]()

Today it was just a riding day, we left Bessemer, AL this morning to head home. The temps were mild with slight gray skies riding out I-20 East to US 78 East to Buckhanan Hwy then on to the house. Our final note from the ride is that we were able to endure the trip, but we did discover that we do better with cooler temps and less miles per day. We truly enjoyed the ride and the fellowship with our brothers and sisters and already looking forward to the next journey. It is all due to our Heavenly Father’s grace. Again, thanks for the prayers. Have great and bless night. Sorry no pictures just miles today. Here is an update on the Cody gang they are in Colorado to ride The Garden of the Gods. They are doing will.
